In May 2006, I handed box and soil to twenty people. And I asked them to put the box outside and take photo and send it every two weeks.

Six months later, I am going to make an animation work with the photos.

There are no seeds into the soil. However, wind, rain, birds and natural happenings will bring seeds there. Perhaps, several weeks later, some plants will sprout in the box. We can see the process of the growing the plants on this page.

As for the kind and the time of a sprouting plant, it may be different, because environment around the box decides it.

The meaning of my art is to show "Passage of Time". However, also this project is including the meaning of an experimentation between arts and science.
