|
I put twelve copper-disks on a ground in Sakai City Japan. The disk is polished like a mirror. These disks reflect interactive images, -the sky, cloud, the sun, the moon, trees, buildings-. Also, person, birds, animals and everything which are at the side of the disks, will be reflected. As time passed, the disks will change to get cloudier and oxidize by component in water, air, etc..The images on the disks will change just like a painting of the impressionism. It is my purpose of my art to make a documentary for the passage of time. |

I show my art project "Sky Project in Sumter" for the exhibition of installation and public art "Accessibility 2003" in Sumter (SC) USA from September 27 until November 1, 2003. Along the show, I will show the document of the photos I have taken on the art-project "Sky Project in Sakai, Japan". |
