I carried soil on the roof of a building in Osaka.
I'm waiting for the water, wind, birds and other natural happenings
to bring seeds and for new plants to grow there naturally. When the
seeds sprouted, I will put the small new plants in the paper I had made,
And the layout of the plants in the paper are the same as the place
which the plants was growing on the ground before. The position of the
plants in the paper are controlled by nature.
I wish to put inside paper time and remembrance of those moments which
we can never see.

In March, I brought in soil on the roof of a building by Tanimachi
Street in Osaka.
I take a photograph now to record the changing surface of the soil.
And I put the photo on this page, once a week. Also I will make photo
and video documentary of the changing soil.
First few weeks, it will appear only the view of the changing soil by
rain, wind and natural happening on this page. However, I expect that
some small plants germinate there several weeks or one month later.
Probably, I am going to wait it for a few months.

This series art project "Plants Project ", it started from
1999 in Mino(Gifu) and the project was continued in Shihoro(Hokkaido)
and Kashihara(Nara).
All the projects of "Plants Project" were done in nature.
However, I plan to do this project "Plants in Osaka" in the
center of city space. It may be a difficult condition for this "Plants
Project". However, The building is near of the west-side of Osaka
Castle Park. It expect that strong wind will bring seeds from the park
to the rooftop of this building.
learned various matters from experience of past plants projects. The
plants sprouted, even in the place where an herbicide was sprinkled.
It is impossible to expect when seeds sprout or not. However, I expect
that the plants will sprout there. I will start this project from March.
