 Henry came to my place in February,1997. My freind's son gave it to me because it became difficult for him to keep Henry. A couple of months after Henry came,he got both pneumonia and parasites at the same time. You can see how things were going here. Fortunately, he has since recovered and -- I'm happy to say -- has actually become the greateset one of my three turtles. |

 When I measured him in July of 2003, the length of his shell was 12.6 cm, and his weight was 396g. I don't know why, but he hasn't grown since he came here. Henry is very freindly to people,but it seems like the other two turtles don't like him very much. This is probably because Henry always chases them whenever I let them roam freely in the same space. |

 He follows me all the time and loves climbing on my bare feet! When I get back from work, he often runs up to me from somewhere as if to say "How was your day?" I often talk to him, putting him on the palm of my hand. I don't think he can understand what I'm saying, but he stares at me while I'm talking. It seems like he's trying to understand me. |

 Henry doesn't like being in the cage. So as soon as I put him in the cage,he makes a big fuss! He's probably saying, "Get me out of here!!!" |
